On 15 June, Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participated in the “WiT Phocuswright Middle East” event held in Barcelona, Spain.

Bringing together leading representatives of the global tourism industry and innovation leaders, the event featured discussions on industry trends, market dynamics and future prospects.

As part of the event, Florian Sengstschmid, Chairman of the Board of the ATB, participated in panel discussions, sharing his views on global tourism practices, Azerbaijan’s positioning as a tourism destination, and the country’s tourism development priorities.

The discussions covered topics including destination positioning, regional tourism dynamics, data-driven decision-making approaches, and the role of sociological factors in tourism development.

“WiT Phocuswright Middle East” is considered as one of the leading international platforms for discussions on the future of the tourism industry and the role of the Middle East region in the global tourism ecosystem.
